Emma & Scott tied the knot in mid-September, 2015 at one of the Sunshine Coast hinterlands most popular wedding venues, Flaxton Gardens.
Emma’s bridal look was inspired by a soft, classic makeup look, to accentuate her eyes!
I set up my makeup station at Flaxton Grove, where the girls were getting ready for Emma’s big day. Emma had makeup done for herself, three bridesmaids, her mum & super sweet little flower girl.
Some fantastic suppliers came together to contribute their talents to making Emma & Scott’s day perfect….vendor list & photo’s below!
Just recently I was part of an amazing creative styled bridal shoot, taking place along Hastings Street & the iconic sands of Noosa Main Beach, QLD.
Three gorgeous models all had individual makeup & hair looks created for them, to be paired with stunning couture gowns & bridal jewellery.
Makeup Breakdown: Look 1 – Crimson: the makeup look I created for Crimson was a cool toned, sultry, modern smokey eye, to compliment her strong features. Using cool mauve based taupe shades in the smokey look helped to bring out the stunning green tones in her eyes. I paired this eye with a neutral lip colour, to compliment her full bridal bouquet she is holding.
Look 2 – Ruby: soft, fresh & naturally defined was my vision for Ruby’s makeup look, as her two piece Erin Clare Couture skirt & full lace top were the crowning statement of her whole look! I used bronze & gold tones on her eyes, completed with a full set of medium length individual lashes & a soft peach lipstick. Ruby’s lip colour was: MAC ‘Shy Girl’.
Look 3 – Georgia: the focus of Georgia’s makeup look was all on her beautiful, big eyes. The shadow look was comprised of high-shimmer shadows, in warm cranberry & tan shades. To add more emphasis to the eyes & set of Model Rock Lashes in ‘Style 4’ were used. These lashes are thick, without being overly dramatic, making them perfect for a ‘natural glam’ bridal look! The gorgeous dress ‘Willow’ that Georgia wore was complimented perfectly with a delicate bunch of fresh pink peonies, which is where I drew makeup inspiration from!
Also, it was fantastic working alongside Ashling, from Hair by Ashling Lorger for this creative bridal shoot. She created gorgeous, soft boho hairstyles for each of the girls, incorporating unique bridal jewellery pieces from Cherrywood Design Jewellery.
