Wedding (Elopement) Styled Shoot – Boho, 70’s Bridal Inspired – Sunshine Coast, QLD

The talented Zoe from Worth Photography & Monique from Come fly with me Lola Vintage asked me along to create a 70’s inspired makeup look on the stunning Shaanti, for this unreal Styled Elopement Shoot!

I so loved being part of this shoot, make sure to check out the images & makeup breakdown below!

Makeup Menu

Brief: 70’s inspired, defined eyes, full lashes & a HD-ready base for flawless photo’s in natural daylight.

SKIN: Our gorgeous model Shaanti had amazing skin, tanned & lightly freckled…..so Make Up For Ever’s HD Foundation was the perfect choice! ¬†Applied lightly to her face, for a natural look, Shaanti’s freckles subtly showed through & she had that all over natural ‘glow’ to her skin. I love this foundation for weddings & photo shoots as it’s made for High-Definition film & photography – creating natural, but flawless skin in real life and on camera.

EYES: Full lashes and a thick winged liner were definitely the focus of Shaanti’s makeup look.¬†Blending gold & bronze shadows over her lid, deepened with warm browns to complement her skin tone – the colour combo made her deep brown eyes pop.

Shaanti’s lashes were a gorgeous fluffy set of Model Rock Lashes, in a strip form. They have a clear lash band, which curves and sits on the eye comfortably for all-day wear and comfort!

FINISHING TOUCHES: To get Shaanti’s glowing skin, a liquid illuminator was used, buffed into the high-points on the face, then set with a powder highlighter from Hourglass (Ambient Lighting Powders). For her seamless, bronzey skin, I reached for my ‘Soleil Tan De Chanel’ (from Chanel), which is a rich mousse/cream bronzer. Cream bronzers & contour products are my go-to for bridal looks, as they blend seamlessly into the foundation & skin, leaving no harsh, muddy lines.

Shaanti’s lips were left bare, just a good coating Rosebud Salve lip balm was applied for an effortless, boho look!
